Semipermanent

I came across this web series documentary about expats living in Seoul and I've been spending my entire night watching it. My knowledge of Korea and what it is mostly stems from spending excessive amounts of time watching Korean television shows so what I know is largely superficial. The videos definitely bring to light a side of Seoul that is more than just Kpop.

Even though it's pretty well-known that Korea is a really stressful place to live in, it also seems like it's a place brimming with culture and life. There are all these indie boutiques and cafes, lots of young and creative individuals, and even as the country is becoming more modern there are still all of these traditional houses and alleys around that give the country some of its character.

Hearing these expats talk about living in a country different from your own makes me long to move overseas and live too. It sounds exciting! Definitely interesting to note how the expats interviewed are all from western countries though. Also makes me wonder if it's easier for a westerner to move to Korea compared to someone from South East Asia (e.g., me).
